The Woman Who Knew Too Much

Vanity Fair has an interesting article this week about Elisabeth Warren, who is running for the senate in Ted Kennedy’s old district. She was almost nominated for the new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (CFPB), but very strong lobbying by the financial industry blocked her nomination. The interview gives some revealing insights about the power of the same lobby on Capitol Hill, and how progressive reform have been stifled by strong industry interest.
